... Watched a whole canoe of people overturn in the canal next to my apartment. They all seemed to be having a great time.
...Started playing Halo 3, the first Halo game I've ever tried. We started with 3 because it was really cheap. So far I'm not impressed. So unimpressed, that we also started playing the Nazi Zombie bonus game from COD: World at War.
... Melted at work everyday. While it's not that hot here, there's no air conditioning, I'm on the 3rd or 4th floor, depending on if you go by the European or American convention and I have to leave my computer running overnight, so it gets really hot here and doesn't cool down over night.
...witnessed the most apathetic response to a trashcan fire ever. People either walked passed it, stood around it smoking and eating ice cream, or even kept throwing their trash in it. There were flames shooting out, it was under a tree and it's been unusually hot and dry recently. Not a big deal apparently!
...continued to be amazed at the size of the snails here! That's a euro for comparison.
...experienced some surprise thunderstorms before the weather broke. The kind of storms where it's sunny one moment, and then the heavens open and people run for cover.
... read a neat article on How to travel as a couple by The Planet D. The only thing missing? make sure you eat often enough and bring snacks with you. We both get pretty cranky when we need to eat.
P.S. Don't the Himalayas look amazing? I only saw them from the air, but what a mountainscape!
