Trafalgar square wasn't all about partying., There were artists, performers, statues, fountains and museums.

The blue Rooster is suposed to represent "regeneration and strength" although to be honest, I'm not sure I see it.

I'd heard that London is known having video cameras everywhere - I thought this photo summed it up well.

When I was a child, I remember being told that when Big Ben strikes thirteen times the lions will wake up and dance.

 I've heard there's a call to ban people from playing on and riding the lions as they could damage them, however they're made of bronze and haven't even started to get shiny yet from being touched. I bet a lot of people have fond memories and fun photos from playing on the lions and to take that away when no harm's being done seems rather mean.

Finally, Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson, who both won and died in the battle the square is named after. It's almost a pity the column is so tall becauseyou can't really get a good view of the statue!
