Michelangelo Piazza is quite close to
Basilica di San Miniato al Monteand the rose garden, with beautiful views over Florence. In a city where nearly all the attractions cost money, the walk and lovely view was a great experience that cost nothing.
The walk was pretty steep in some places and I wish I'd brought water and maybe something to eat. There are vendors selling food and gelato at the top, but it's expensive and of the 'hot dog stand' type.

So beautiful! I loved visiting Florence, I think I have photos taken in almost the same spots, although it was many years ago now. I miss travelling :(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I've been to Italy twice but somehow managed to miss Florence both times. It's on my list of places I must visit someday.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. I've never been but now I want to! :)
